Welcome to Friend Quest. These terms outline the rules and regulations for using our activity platform.

1. Joining the Quest

By accessing this website, we assume you accept these terms and conditions in full. Friend Quest is a platform for discovering localized adventures and building community through surveys and shared interests. Do not continue to use Friend Quest if you do not accept all terms stated on this page. All participants must be 18 or older.

2. Survey Participation

The survey you complete after landing helps us invite you to activities that match your interests. Participation is voluntary, and your data is handled according to our Privacy Policy. We aim to provide accurate activity matches, but invitations are subject to availability and local demand.

Events or invitations may be changed, postponed, or canceled at our discretion.
We are not responsible for any costs (travel, tickets, etc.) incurred as a result.

3. Code of Conduct
  • Respect all fellow community members.
  • No harmful, offensive, or discriminatory behavior.

  • No harassment or inappropriate conduct.

  • Respect all event hosts, partners, and fellow participants.

  • Provide truthful information during your quest registration.
  • Ensuring safety and inclusivity during physical meetups.
  • No unauthorized commercial use of the platform.
4. Legal Boundaries

Friend Quest acts as a facilitator for social connections. We are not liable for any physical harm, disputes, or losses occurring during activities. Users are responsible for their own safety and vetting of individuals they meet through the platform.

FriendQuest is a community initiative to connect adults for social and adventure-based group activities.
Participation is entirely voluntary and at your own risk.
This is not a business, commercial enterprise, or dating service.

By participating in the survey or any event organized or suggested through FriendQuest, you agree to the terms and privacy policy.

By attending any activity organized, suggested, or facilitated through FriendQuest:

  • You acknowledge that all participation is at your own risk.

  • You understand that FriendQuest does not screen or vet participants for safety or background.

  • You agree that FriendQuest and its organizers are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in any event, or from the actions or behavior of any person.

You are responsible for your own safety and decisions during all activities.

We may collaborate with third-party activity providers (for example, escape rooms, adventure companies, or venues).
By choosing to attend such an event, you also agree to the terms and safety rules of that provider.

FriendQuest is not responsible for the operations, safety, or conduct of any third-party partners.

By filling out the survey and providing your contact information, you consent to receiving event invitations and updates by email.
You can unsubscribe or request data deletion at any time by requesting your information be deleted via email to the email from which your event invitations are sent. 

All participants must be 18 or older.

Privacy Policy

At FriendQuest, we believe in radical transparency. Your data isn't just numbers to us—it's the fuel that powers your next adventure. Here is how we keep it safe.

1. The Information We Gather

To match you with the best localized activities, we collect info through our onboarding survey. This includes your interests, availability, and preferred activity intensity levels. We also store basic contact information like your email so we can send you those invites.

2. How Your Interests Shape FriendQuest

We use your survey responses to curate invitations to events you'll actually love. Whether it's a neighborhood urban hike or a craft brewery tour, our goal is community building. We never sell your survey answers with third-party advertisers. However, your data may be shared with partners including but not limited to website servicer providers and activity partners. For example, if participating in an escape room, your information will be shared with the escape room company after you RSVP.

3. Keeping Your Adventures Private

Our no profile survey approach means that your interests are private.  You decide what you share with other activity participants.

4. Your Data, Your Choices

You have the right to update your activity preferences or request a complete data deletion at any time. Email us for deletion or simply retake the survey and your answers will be updated. We're here to make your experience as smooth as possible.
